Context
Working with serial devices often requires raw, unfriendly tools. The goal was to build a lighter, more polished interface for reading and sending serial data.
The project
I built a desktop app with a readable interface, support for multiple data formats and a foundation for future expansion.
My contribution
End-to-end: UI, logic, desktop integration and shaping the project as a real tool.
Approach
The frontend handles user operations and data display, while Tauri provides desktop capabilities without a heavy runtime.
Challenges
- Designing UI for repeated technical work.
