The project

The web interface lets users select network shares and mailboxes, set schedules and monitor backups. Jobs can also start when a drive is connected. The related InCrypt project creates archives with snapshot history, and its desktop application handles file recovery.

My contribution

My work covered the device and its software, from 3D modelling, printing and electronics to firmware, management and diagnostic tools.

    A tool for preparing and flashing device software, updates and diagnostics.

Approach

Rust software connects data sources, schedules and drive management with a React interface. Archiving is handled by the InCrypt library, shared by the appliance and standalone tools for working with backups.
